The Sixth Presbyterian Food closet distributes food every other Wednesday (call the church office for specific dates) at noon from the Kennedy Street entrance to the church. The Food Closet is supported by church and neighborhood contributions. These are some of our faithful volunteers.

Students at the vocational training school in Ghana founded by Sixth Presbyterian member Seth Ofori Boetang — Vocational Training School in Ghana

Recently the Mission and Justice Committee under guidance of the Session committed to a new Mission and Justice project initiated by Sixth’s very own Seth Ofori Boetang.

Seth is fulfilling an essential need in Ghana, West Africa. He recently opened a technical training school funded independently from personal resources and donations. Seth’s school is free of charge and provides a much needed service in a county with high youth unemployment and minimal job opportunities.
